Description
Clothes hook with filigree granulate decoration.
This remarkable garment clasp is based on the model of a Viking Age pendant using granulation technology from grave BJ 943 in the Viking town of Birka / Sweden.
The original was made of silver with elaborate granulation, as was typical of Slavic jewelry in the time of the Vikings. Original: see last photo.
In the case of Viking Age granulated jewelry, small pearls and fine wires were soldered to the amulet in a filigree process.
Our replica, on the other hand, is completely cast in one piece, which beautifully expresses the filigree representation.
Dimensions: 4.9 x 1.9 cm.
This Viking clasp is made in high quality bronze.
Due to its light weight, the robe closure is simply perfect as a robe hook for closing tunics and dresses. Ideal for historical clothing in larp and medieval reenactments.
With a needle and thread you can easily sew the Viking dress hook to the coat with the holes all around.
