This chainmail coif completely covers the shoulder and features the authentic square face cutout. In addition, the hood has a hinged, triangular mouthguard to which a leather band is sewn on the side. The mouthguard is lightly padded on the inside and lined with leather. This type of chainmail hat was especially popular in the High Middle Ages (including among Normans, Crusaders).<\/p>\n

The chainmail cap consists of round rings with round rivet heads. Each ring is riveted by hand. The braid is 4 in 1.
\nWe call this type of chainmail RRR (Round Ring Riveted).<\/p>\n
